Bangladesh Open University is such an educational institution being well-timed, versatile, technology-based and distance learning which helps to preserve the quality of education by spreading the light of it in every corner of the country. Bangladesh Open University was established on 21st October 1992 under the act passed by the Parliament. On 30th May 2011, under the order of the Education Ministry, with the help of 17 staff, Bangladesh Open University Board of Governors decided to create the Audit Cell. This cell directly works under the supervision of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor.
The Audit Cell works directly under the supervision of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor.
Carrying out Pre-audit of Financial transactions of BOU’s Headquarter.
Conducting post audit of financial transaction / income-expenditures of regional centers and sub regional centers.
Providing assistance in statutory audit activities.
To take necessary steps for disposal of objections raised by statutory government audit / inspection bodies.
