Arafat Hassan Razon

My name is Arafat Hassan Razon, and I am a lecturer (Nutrition) at the School of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Open University. Having pursued my undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Technology, my passion for research in this field has been unwavering. Moreover, I have completed my research-based Master's Program in the same department, further solidifying my dedication to advancing knowledge in nutrition and food science. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively engaged in research, resulting in the publication of three first-authored articles in esteemed international peer-reviewed journals, with the highest Impact Factor reaching 4.00. My adeptness in manuscript preparation and statistical analysis was honed during my undergraduate thesis project, where I developed research questionnaires and utilized SPSS software for data analysis in community-based surveys. Additionally, my master's thesis project, which spanned six months, involved active participation in an interventional study on diabetic model rats. During this time, I acquired invaluable hands- on experience in various laboratory techniques, including Western Blotting, SDS-PAGE, RT- PCR, ELISA, and Agarose Gel Electrophoresis. Furthermore, I am currently expanding my analytical skills by delving into R programming software to analyze health science data, thus positioning myself for continued growth and contribution to the field of nutrition and food technology research.
