Mohammad Habibur Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy at the School of Science and Technology of Bangladesh Open University (BOU), Board bazar, Gazipur-1075, Bangladesh. Mr. Habib passed Bachelor of Science (Hon’s) in Physiotherapy from Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI), the academic institute of Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) under Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka in 2006. He completed one (01) year compulsory internship in Musculo-sketetal, Neurology, Spinal Cord Injury and Pediatric unit of CRP Savar and Mirpur centre from 2006-2007. He completed Master of Science in Physiotherapy under Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka in 2016. Before joining to BOU, he served as a faculty of Physiotherapy in BHPI, CRP, Savar, Dhaka from 2008- 2018 in different academic designations.
Mr. Habib joined Bangladesh Open University (BOU) in November 01, 2018 as a Lecturer of Physiotherapy. Then, he got promotion and serving as Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy from October 12, 2022 to present. Besides, he has been working as Coordinator of Master of Disability Management and Rehabilitation (MDMR) program since February 02, 2019 to continuing. He worked as member secretary of BOU central & school journal and M. Phil &PhD regulation revision committee. He is actively engaged with the e-learning centre of BOU. In addition, he is conducting tutorial classes in different courses and supervising thesis of MDMR and MPH program learners. He has published 30 scholarly articles in the field of physiotherapy, disability and rehabilitation in national and international journals.
