Dr. Mohsin Uddin is working as a Professor in the area of Mathematics & Mathematics Education, in the School of Education, Bangladesh Open University. He has also served as the Director of the UGC-World Bank led project ‘Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), BOU’. During his works at the BOU, has developed many self-learning modules and published research articles in the national and international journals.
He has also worked and contributed to national textbook composition under NCTB (National Curriculum and Textbook Board) in Mathematics books. In addition to his academic works, he has served as the Advisor of Training and Research Division, BOU. He did his B.Sc (Honours) in Mathematics and M.Sc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also did his Master of Education & Ph.D in Mathematics Education from Hiroshima University, Japan, under ‘MONBUKAGAKUSHO’ Scholarship (Japan Government Scholar). He provided consultancies in the field of education for UNICEF, ADB, JICA and World Bank.
